Mount Hawke
Mount Hawke Millennium Green in St Agnes Parish, near Truro and Redruth in Cornwall.

- "Mount Hawke Millennium Green is a two acre site in the centre of Mount Hawke village In St Agnes Parish in Cornwall. It forms the only public access play space in the village and for a 2 mile radius. The Millennium Green contains a mixture of general grassed play area, enclosed playground and wild areas, connected by a network of paths which also form access routes between a number of residential areas and the village shops and school. Because of its central location the Green is continuously well used by all age groups, and also hosts a number of annual village events."

This area, added to the Green some years after the original Creation, has a good range of play equipment, well maintained in a safe, gated area.
Labyrinth[]

In 2016, Mount Hawke made a small wooden labyrinth. In 2023, there are plans to change this to a flat pattern, so that they can mow over it.
Nature & Wildlife[]
The tarmacked paths of the Green are access paths following desire lines through the village. As of 2023, the Green is planning to create more exploring paths.
Although a lot of the Green is short-mown grass, the woodland and the hedges around contain a wealth of trees and shrubs, with plenty of nettles, brambles etc. - home to wildlife.

Mount Hawke operate a Give as you Live web page, where internet shoppers can raise funds for the Green as they shop on-line
